Slick black Ferré pants with cargo pocket and D-ring detail. Lower waist straight-leg pant with fly front zipper and hook and bar closure. Slanted side pockets. Unlined. 

LABEL: Ferre Jeans. Made in Italy. 

Gianfranco Ferré was an Italian fashion designer who began his career by designing accessories and raincoats in the early 70s. He soon launched his own company and eventually became the stylistic director of Christian Dior in 1989, where he remained until 1997. He has always been critical of fashion trends and his own label has always been more pared down than Dior. He commuted between Milan and Paris on a private plane, managing both labels. He passed away in 2007.
